I found this end to a sad tale recently,
HEAD BLOWN OFF.

SUICIDE AT WAIPAWA. [BY TEL EG APH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WAIPAWA. Thursday. V A man named Edward George McRoberts, aged 53, and single, committed suicide this morning by blowing his head off with gelignite. Deceased was summoned to appear in Court to-day on charges of theft, and it is supposod that this preyed on bis mind. (Dec 1924)
