Can you merge the following:
http://www.geni.com/merge/compare/6000000034295367285?from%5Fflash=...
Side question: I own one profile, I know the person who owns the other, and both of us agree (and have marked them) as the same. Shouldn't this auto-merge?
Rafi Kornfeld (c), thank you. I have merged what I can. There's some locked private profiles further down the line that I can't touch, unfortunately.
I have a question for the curators what does ex-partner mean in the relationship does it mean ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend because if it says ex-partner i think that usually means that were the same sex between each other and if you know who's the webmasters of this website is then please tell them to add these options to the relationship tabs add with these "EXACT" wording add these words "boyfriend", "girlfriend", "ex-boyfriend", "ex-girlfriend" and "ex-fiance"
I think that ex partner shoul only be used to describe divorced or equivalent official or semi official ties . Ex boyfriend would mean a severe breach of personal information . And explicit stating of homosexual relationship could be even worse . I think Geni is not the proper place for such personal vendetta
I think if the relationship was, as has been stated above, for 5 years or longer or there was a child then it would be acceptable to use it... of course with living people probably advisable to get permission. I generally am referring to the historic tree. There is no vendetta Rafi if someone is homosexual in recording that on their tree. Sex change is another issue that needs to be treated sympathetically but occurs.
Hello, Curators! Because this profile -- Hugo Gutmann / Henry G. Grant -- is an MP, it appears that a person such as myself at Pro level cannot add him to projects like Jewish Soldiers in World War I or Reich Refugees during Holocaust. Would someone please do so?Much obliged!
This person Private User added 16 profiles in 2012 . It's an abandoned tree and can't be reassigned. There are profile matches but the merges stay incomplete for some reason. What I've noticed is for some reason all these profiles have the Surname FIRST and then the names. The option is not there to correct this. How do we go about fixing these profiles?
A little bit of clean up on the edges of the Arundel clan:
Can we detach Elizabeth FitzAlan, Duchess of Norfolk
from her parents as listed? She's actually the daughter of Richard Fitzaland and Eleanor de Bohun, a generation later (but let's get into that later).
After that, can we detach elizabeth wingfield from her?
And you'll se that that particular Elizabeth Wingfield is her own daughter, which also needs to get detached; and then, can Elizabeth Wingfield get detached from her wife? Cause they had nothing to do with each other.
All of these people show up elsewhere in the tree; they just do not belong here, and not in these relationships.
thanks, Anne
