I'm looking for a Curator volunteer to designate master profiles for me, where I've provided sufficient sourcing. I would post them on here directly, but I feel like 2 - 3 people might work on something simultaneously, which would be a waste of their time.

I joined two months ago and have added about 500 profiles in that time, some much more heavily sourced than others. At the very least, the ones I'd be seeking MP designation on would have 5+ primary sources with citations and at least some evidence showing parents and one or more children. I'm not sure what the standard is for MP designation, as I've seen plenty where the only source if FindaGrave.. maybe my volunteer could give me some guidance?

Here's an example of a profile where I'd request Master Profile status:

I've done all of the merges I could find.
There is however a problem with Michael David Gutcher's father.

He was added as JAMES by Diane and also James by Mr. Gutcher. You however added JOHN as his father. If you look at Michaels 'About' section, you'll see that you added a reference to both James and John as Michael's father. I left the merge conflict so that you and Diane can decide what his name really is..

But to save another curator from investigating and wasting their time, it might be worth the message to say working on it or something.

I unhid Luba Dores and there is STILL no relationship between them. Now I can't rehide Luba Dores.

Try asking the curators for help on this one in the curator discussions.

I can't figure it out either. I tried seeing what her relationship to Luba Dores is, but it came back with no relationship.

Also, if they are both in the big tree, and related in anyway, they are in the same tree and unless she manages their profiles, she can't remove them from the big tree.

This person has a problem.....I don't know how to actually get rid of the names that I have eliminated from her part of the family tree! They ARE hidden, but, all you can do is add them back not actually get rid of them so she doesn't see them...This is disturbing to her. Can we do something?

I don't see "Edit My Immediate Family".....Where are you looking? Tell me, and then I can fix it.

Elyse Vahjen(c) i unhid them and merged to another copy by the same manager.

They are no longer part of the member's family when looking at the "view all family" link.

"hide" is not the right tool for removing from a family group, the member should have asked for a "disconnect" instead. It is meant more for divorced people.

If you check her activities the actual profile is Alexander M'Ghie or McGhie (XI.), i.e. missing an 8 in the URL, but Judi have made so many changes after the merge so I doubt it is worth undoing the merge, unless it is to fix the other tree that is missing a profile now.

I want to add the mothers death notice. Two children are mentioned. Is this profile for Noel or Norman? Noel Verster

Think I finally got it sorted out the and I done some labeling in the display name to correspond with the text from the book - some dates in profiles merged threw it off to but left for now till more research is done - besides referencing for now that the 2 Viscount Kenmure's can be 2 separate people "surnames" attacked I am not definitely sure of but left as is also - most were my profiles except for the new found ones with spelling variation and since this is to be "One Tree"

See what you think - took awhile and had to walk away too I was about to scream and cry....

I can't attach a link to the second profile because I can't get to it.

My profile = Sidney Solomon Michael

Duplicate is by a person named "Go Pro!" who is obviously not a real person. In the search criteria if you put
First Name - Sidney Solomon
Last Name - Michael
parent name - David
Child name - Vivian

Is there anyway to tell who this "Go Pro!" is?
The whole line appears duplicated.

Private User, I did merge a duplicate but it was a typical imported one. I did not find one by "Go Pro". Jim
