The next time, all we need is a link to the profiles in the 'merge compare' that you'd like to have merged together :-) . Many of the merges are now done but only a few the 'data conflicts'.

(If YOU get "can't find replacement manager" after reporting an abandoned tree, then WE can't find anyone either when Geni computer lets us know that there isn't a replacement. I had to search for the profiles of manager MICAJAH PEYTON who ahd abandoned his tree that needed to be merged)

I have checked back three sets of posting, not going back over 100 posts , so I don't know what this this referring to.

Please have a look at conflicting data, there's a different name in there, could be an alert to an issue. Doesn't explain why the medieval profile with a dozen managers was set to private though.

Private User - ah, medieval Danish genealogy is not something I can help much with, I'm afraid. Perhaps contact managers for a source query.

Judi - only an existing manager can add as manager. Curators cannot do it. Suggest you make a same name sibling and merge in, then you can add Reed.

Hi guys, I'm hoping you can help undo an incorrect merger.

My father, Janusz Mazur [1], has his parents listed as Henryk Mazur and Janina Mazur. During my research I found a Henryk Mazur and Janine Mazur who I thought were his parents (and the owners accepted the merge request) but we later discovered that they are a different couple. As a result, my father's side of the family tree is entirely incorrect now.

If possible, you can completely unlink my father from his parents. I'll rebuild it from scratch.

A while ago, somebody accidentally merged my wife's father's profile with that of her grandfather. The resulting merged profile can be found here: Samuel Simon Wainer

My wife's father (Samuel Wainer) has an account on Geni, which is associated with the email address on that profile (s_s_wainer@shaw.ca). He is married to Nava Wainer (Nava Tserna Rena Spiegel), and has three children, including my wife. His parents were Isadore Wainer (Isidore Joseph Wainer) and Lily Wainer nee Cohen (Lily Wainer (Cohen)).

My wife's grandfather was Moshe Spiegel, who was married to Ahuva Arav (Ahuva Spiegel). I don't know the names of his parents, and do not believe they were entered into Geni prior.

Is there any way somebody can sort out this mess? I don't appear to have access to do so.
