You can now add the correct parents and build away, just a bit of advice: these profiles are very bare with little more than a name and birth date, it is much easier to add details to the profile as you are building the tree rather than planning to "come back next week and fill it in".
For example with Joseph I can see that he is born in May 1833, other than this i can assume based on his name that he is from an English speaking nation, but are we looking at a Scottish family, or a New Zealand family or Canada? Also where has this info come from? If you are just copying your own tree that you have at home onto Geni then it is obvious to you where you have gotten the information but no one else knows. Some people build from multiple online sources (of varying quality) so for people that come along later it is easier to help if there is some indication of the source. Copy&pasting text into the About section of the profile is a very quick and nasty but effective method, hyper-links in the About are also good but websites change server or don't pay the bills and sometimes just disappear. The very best is to upload scans of primary documents onto Geni and reference it using the Geni cross referencing software, lots of people can give you more advice if you need it.
