Elizabeth Durant This profile has three John Blake's as her husband, plus George Durant.

We do not know her parents and we do not know who Capt. John Blake's parent's are. I am trying to clean up the profile and combine the John Blake's into one CAPT. BLAKE since we really don't know if her son John Blake's father was a John Blake too, we are assuming. I have a message into the curator too.

Private User I resolved all data conflicts for Elizabeth, but I think you may want to rearrange the various surnames in the game. You should be able to edit the profile without restrictions.
I'm not sure what to do with the three John Blake husbands: one is an MP without parents, the other two have the same years of birth and death but different parents

Can you remove the merge I just did on Maude Blackshaw.

I was trying to merge and then disconnect the Maude Blackshaw as a parent of the Elizabeth Blake Durant (Unknown). But even after merging, I cannot do it and I think the name is the same but the dates of birth might be off.

... as Kimberly wrote, her husband could possibly be living (depending on birth date) ... none of the 'SmartMatches' identified a husband for her, so it wasn't immediately obvious as to his status. (Though likely to be deceased.)

Curators ,I was directed to this location by Dan Cornett ,however he was speaking of an issue in regard to Guillaume ll Van Meldert. I would like to get someone to review my tree page as the number of profiles has been diminished from 749 to 616 .Also there is a page that list a large number of profiles that I have supposedly deleted. I am not aware purposely deleting any profiles except for those of some children suggested by Ann Vermuelen.I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

re: the change in the number of profiles (I presume you are referring to the number in your family group or some similar statistic).

A couple of factors can be at work in making that number 'drop':

1) It may be that the old number was pulled up from the 'cached' page on your computer, and then when the page was next refreshed from the Internet, the new number showed. That doesn't necessarily mean that "drop" happened in that short period of time.

2) That number can be reduced as duplicated profiles are merged. That's a good thing (merging duplicates).

3) There can be some 'apparent deletions' made when duplicates profiles are merged. If the Geni software notes that one of the profiles had NO additional information to contribute to the merge -- other than the co-managers --, then it will sometimes report that profile has having been deleted ... when it really was merged as a duplicate. That merge can be seen in the Revisions tab of the profile. I'm not clear on the precise situations where the 'other' profile is noted as deleted vs. simply merged, but when that happens, it's not a concern. "Real deletions" will show up in your "deleted profiles" list: http://www.geni.com/list/deleted

What I find curious in regard to the reduction of the number of profiles listed is that in one instance I was viewing the family tree of Guillaume ll van Meldert and the count dropped from approximately 749 to 616.In the other instance I was viewing a page of supposedly deleted profiles and the count dropped from 616 to 549. In neither instance was there any thing related to merging on my part taking place. I understand from several sources that there is no pathway between Guilluame ll van Meldert and myself.

Dan Cornett, would you have time to view my tree and see if anything pops out at you about the content. On the home page I think there is a subtitle of deleted profiles. I find it hard to think that there were 133 merged profiles in one grouping and 37 in a second grouping .I would greatly appreciate you or someone who is a curator taking a look at this Respectfully Dale Melder. In regard to the supposed deletions numerous listings that are shown there are still displayed on the tree as well.
