thanks Dan Cornett
there is indeed an enormous amount of data conflicts in that area; geni lists 356 of which about 20 are generated by you and me today

and another incest case: Peter Drost
he was only married to Mary Drost and not to Mary Drost (who is his mother)

Ard van Bergen

Need to verify his mothers years of birth and death

On Family Search it shows 1765-1815
http://grab.by/Lz7A

Angus Wood-Salomon I had already tried to resolve the data conflict on the mother's profile but it is still waiting for approval from the profile manager. I think 1756 is the most plausible from the available alternatives for the year of birth, with 1765 (two digits swapped) the mother would be quite young at the time of marriage

I resolved the conflicts..looks good now

The "about" section lists Joseph Gordon and Ann Rattray. Is that doubtful?

Not sure how James Gordon got listed as George William Gordon's father but all indications are Joseph Gordon was his father. This was later confirmed with the birth announcement of his twin sisters Jane and Ann as Joseph Gordon as their father and Ann Rattray their mother. Joseph 7 children with Ann were all older than his children with Sarah Arrowsmith suggesting a different picture that was painted in the history books. Joseph and Sarah migrated to the Channel Islands with their children and the Channel Islands Family History Society listed his death and full name as Joseph McIntosh Gordon, died at 2.15pm on 12 May 1867 at 3 Clarence Terrace, St Helier, age 77yrs 2mths; occupation "gentleman"; died of old age; informant F.L. Dyer, present during recent illness. Sarah Gordon death was recorded 8 Feb 1883 at 3 Victoria Terrace, St Helier. She was described as the widow of Benjamin Marriott Perkins and of Honourable Joseph MacIntosh Gordon.

Joseph MacIntosh Gordon's father is reputed to be Hugh Gordon and Joseph was born March 1790 in Navidale, Sutherland, Scotland, United Kingdom

re Petronella Lulofs Luls
please disconnect her from her parents as they are actually her parents-in-law

Done Arie.

here we have a VERY odd data conflict!
http://www.geni.com/merge/resolve/6000000003275301753
it looks as if four or five very different people have been merged into one profile

Just resolve it, - old merges since 2013 and the tree seem to be fixed now.

oh Augustin is born whe was 85 hehehe

re Hadewighis Praets
she has two husbands with the same name (brothers, one of them died young). Of course she was only married to the younger of the two, and her children should be attributed to Hendrick Laenen

Hi Ard van Bergen,
I moved the two children to Hendrick Laenen (1601-1653) .His older brother (1595-1601) is also no longer married to Hadewighis.Praets.

Fixed now ...lol

Margaret II, countess of Flanders
I think this profile is best removed from the tree. It contains no information and in Medlands http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/FLANDERS,%20HAINAUT.htm#BaudouinIXd... only two daughters are mentioned for her parents, and they have their proper profiles already

That profile Arie noted as 'empty/excess' was merged into one of the other daughters (as can be seen by the name change in the posting from '(No Name)' to Margaret).

the only info is

http://www.nosorigines.qc.ca/GenealogieQuebec.aspx?pid=20682&pa... no joseph

but

http://www.familleslessard.org/ancetres/joseph.htm
Joseph, né le 4 décembre 1700 for joseph. he probably die young

That is good

@William Owen "Bill" Irwin
I have removed James as Josephs father. Go ahead and add the other great info that you have on that line, and let me know if I can help with any thing else.
Thanks, Myrna

Is it possible to add me as manager to

Drucilla Strain

and

Charles Eugene Teagarden?

The manager doesn't seem to be active, and I'm trying to make the profiles worthy of MP status; it would be great to be able to easily do things like add in marriage dates.

thanks!

Anne - only a manager can add a manager. Advice: make a duplicate sibling, merge in.

Ah. Of course. Done.

re Pietertje Versluis
there is an incorrect "confirmed match" here; how can that be removed?

I found three girls with the same name in this village, all born within a few years of each other (1838, 1840 and 1842), but from different parents
the marriage of the person from this profile: https://www.wiewaswie.nl/personen-zoeken/zoeken/document/a2apersoni...
the marriage from the incorrect match: https://www.wiewaswie.nl/personen-zoeken/zoeken/document/a2apersoni...
and the marriage of the third one: https://www.wiewaswie.nl/personen-zoeken/zoeken/document/a2apersoni...

Ard van Bergen
Confirmed matches can only be removed by a manager of the profile.
