In the Swedish "who do you think you are" a very popular Swedish pop artist relatives a couple of centuries ago were sentenced for witchery and one man among them were also convicted for having had sex with the devil himself, imagine that part in the last name, Mr X X the Devil f**ker! Of course it was crazy people doing that kind of accusation back then, but to see that this kind of sick mentality still exist today is just as horrifying. I do not want that Geni is turned into some kind of modern variant of an eternal pillory, maybe to hunt down the living descendants of today in the worst scenario. Some people of course had done some bad things, we will have all sorts of relatives both good and bad, but I do not just see the point in highlit it in the name field or suffix area.

Private User name fields are for names.
Sometimes (Ketil "Flatnefur", Eysten "Glumra") nicknames are what people are commonly known as, and function as names.

If they're not used as names, I agree with Dan Cornett.

Was busy doing research on a new emery line - that came in private from my personal emery website.

Since it was freebie research I did not want to just totally had it over to just the one person - wanted it available to all and hopefully amybe connect but alot of work yet to be done somethings sre just not clicking but I know will one day and inserted all here and then invited the person to his profile to view my research work

Would it be possible for somebody to help me out with resolving some merge issues please. She hasn't been on Geni in a while and is not responding to my messages. I've even tried to contact her on Facebook, Her latest post on Facebook was just a couple of days ago.

He had 4 parents, and I am really not sure who is the actual parents. This profile seems to be combining two different Nicholas Hutchins, one of Henrico VA and one of Lynn, MA.

I do not see a merge on his parents , I see where both you and Private User have been switching his parents

I have asked a Curator with knowledge in this area to look at it

Angus Wood-Salomon I guess I selected parents rather than merged them. I liked the father John Hutchins, of Newbury & Haverhill but not the wife option, but they came as a package deal.

I believe Frances Hutchins is the mother, but they choice was Polly if I selected John as the father.
