I am a descendant of William Cook who married Tiraha Papaharakeke from New Zealand. I heard from my late father that William was a cousin of captain cook. I was wondering if you had any records of captain cook's father's history. Such as brothers or sisters??

Is this Unknown Profile the same Cook as James Cook, ie. father of Captain James Cook?

Hi, sorry for late reply. Captain James Cook's father was also a James born on the 4th March 1694 in Ednam, Roxburghshire, Scotland and died 1st April 1779 in Redcar, Yorkshire (now Cleveland), England. His mother was Grace Pace, born on the 10th October 1702 in Thornaby, Yorkshire and died on the15th February 1765 in Great Ayton, Yorkshire.
